Wilderness and Adventure

In 1998 the Wilderness program was born as a two-hour afternoon elective. A few students expressed interest and enjoyed the benefits of this small alternative program. As the weeks went by word spread through the student body. Within one year of it's incarnation as an elective, the Wilderness program became a full day, week long class, functioning on all grade levels, servicing 90% of the student population, and bringing inspiration and a sense of "Kindle" pride to all who experienced it.
