Kindle Farm welcomes Todd Roach to Assistant Director role

Kindle Farm is lucky to welcome a long-time Kindle Farm staff member, Todd Roach, into an Assistant Director role.

Todd is an educator, musician, fitness enthusiast, and family man living in Brattleboro, Vermont. He is one of the founding members of the Kindle Farm School and has seen that project through all of its development while holding various roles. These have included: classroom teacher, program coordinator, campus supervisor, music teacher, leadership team member, and now, assistant director.

At Kindle Farm, Todd has been involved in all aspects of the organization. He is involved in initiatives that have been impactful and diverse in scope, from creating and implementing music programs that included drumming and music technology, developing the school's transportation branch, and chairing the committee that authored the school's behavior philosophy.

Todd's leadership was evident as he sprang into action during the onset of the Pandemic and led the charge to ensure that Kindle Farm families had access to healthy food. He coordinated food production and daily delivery to our families across Windham and Windsor counties.

Todd has traveled the world outside of school, performing and teaching traditional percussion instruments in theaters, festivals, and universities. He has performed with Grammy award-winning artists, and he produced over 200 music events in southern Vermont over the years.

These days, he can be found swimming any chance he gets or hanging by the fire with his three adult children and his wife and partner of 30 years, Deb Kardane.
