Making Connections with Students for Six Years

Rachel Hayes just began her sixth year at Kindle Farm. She left the classroom as a Behavioral Interventionist and Classroom Assistant to take over as the new Administrative Assistant. At Kindle Farm, Rachel has helped run the food security committee, write grants, secure supplemental food for our students, and facilitate the yearbook. She has also led many afternoon activities, including Snack Attack, Healthy Habits, and Coffee Talk. She now sits on the board of the Windham County Hunger Council.

Rachel enjoys time outdoors, hiking with her two rescue dogs, Ellie and Dorie, cooking, exploring, fishing with her husband Eddie, swimming, traveling, skiing, gardening, time spent with family and friends, and any adventure. The Green Mountains are the base camp for seasons of fun.

Rachel loves making quality connections with the students and staff at Kindle Farm, helping in the kitchen and gardens, participating in Winter Immersion at Stratton, and enjoying the beauty of our campuses in our little valley.
