Kindle Farm Bio: Mary Misavage

Mary is one of our three school-based clinicians here at Kindle Farm. Mary has worked for HCRS for the past five years, starting in a public school setting before transitioning to Kindle Farm. Mary has immersed herself in building relationships with students, staff, and families, teaching Health for the Farm/Outback program, and leading her first afternoon activity Dog Days of Summer.

Mary brings experience from her past work experiences at Visiting Nurses, the DCF Wilderness School in Connecticut, and Direct Support in a few treatment programs. Mary dedicates many of her skills/insights to her previous employment, but also her experiences of hiking the Vermont Long Trail in 2021, the Colorado Trail in 2022, and her journey into teaching yoga after completing a 200-hour training in 2021. Mary resides in a 176-square-foot Tiny House with her dog Dover (beloved clinical assistant).
