Academic Happenings!

Our Academic teams are excited to continue our work of promoting the best instructional practices school-wide by partnering with the All-Learners Network (ALN) for the 2023-24 school year. ALN is a Vermont-based organization that supports schools to use best practices in math instruction by offering concrete tools, a plethora of online resources, effective strategies, professional development, and one-on-one coaching. We're beginning our work with a review of our current practices, followed by our first professional learning session on September 28th.

Along with this school-wide push towards equitable and effective math instruction, we continue to promote the literacy instructional methods we've built for the last seven years. This year, our literacy leaders are partnering with the interventionist team at Windham Northeast Supervisory Union in their Lead to Read program through the Stern Center for Language and Learning. We often hear about helping students "keep up while they catch up." At Kindle Farm, we are excited to keep up our best practices in literacy instruction while catching up to reach best practices in supporting math learning school wide.
